Moog Voyager Update Weirdness

Hello all, recently picked up and signature voyager with slew/mod ( jade/walnut). when I went to power it on, after the initial logo screen, it loaded to a "please load bank C" message. I bypassed that and was able to play around with just a single bank of patches with no option to save, but everything worked, sounded awesome.

I loaded up an OS with sysex librarian, loaded 3.5 and then 3.6 with the Rudi banks. So now, I have all the banks, and I can save, but the filter cutoff and res knobs do not change the sound at all, the screen registers the knob movement, and if I save the sound, it loads with the sound change to reflect the knob change position, but the knob still doesnt alter the sound while the patch is live.

If I go to the general menu, receive update, have the rom erase and then cancel before I reload, Im back to a single bank of sounds, cutoff and res work normally, but I cant save. If I reload, back to square one, no cutoff and res. Im stumped here.

Hi jobot,

change in the EDIT menu page 5.1 the values of the T.S. destinations.
When the X destination is filter cutoff switch TS-X amount to off, the Y destination (filter spacing) TS-Y amount to off
and the A destinaton (filter resonance) TS-A amount to off.
When you can change filter and resonance after that a small hardware change is necessary on the T.S. board.

Oh wow, yea, went to that menu and changed those and the filter, res knobs are functional. But only for that patch. What do I have to do to make those stay in that state, and is there a way to have those knobs functional and still be able to have then sent as mod destinations to the TouchPad. Thank you for the help on this. And thank you for all you've done for synth history.

to fix that problem make sure the value of R16 of the touch surface board has 82 KOhm.

Cracked it open, looks like an 82k in r16 position,

I guess U1 (74HC32) on the right panel board is the reason for your problem.
