Voltage range for Grandmother's Clock In?
I've been using a MOTU Ultralite MK3 and Ableton CV Tools to clock my GM's arp/seq with no problems. Now I'm wanting to switch to a more mobile setup so I got a MOTU Microbook because it is bus powered and "also has DC coupled outputs" like the Ultralite (@ 4.6 V). However I cannot get the Microbook to clock the GM, which I assume is because the Microbooks's peak voltage output (@ 2.1 V) is too low for the GM? Now I'm looking to return it and try the MOTU M4 which can output up to 3.6 V. Is there any information on the voltage requirements to clock the GM before I decide on getting a different interface?
