high end B6 and up out of tune

Post by macteacher » Mon Feb 19, 2024 1:26 am

B6 and up is a little flat even after oscillator calibration across all voices and oscillators.

Not a keyboard issue as it follows the octave buttons up and down the keyboard.

frequency is set to 0 across everything.

Still happens with Oscillator compensation is off or on. (I usually have it off), and after the Moog One is completely warmed up.

happens on init patch, any preset....

anyone else experience just a high end detuning issue?

Haven’t noticed this yet.

How many cents off does your tuner show? From B6 on, does your tuner show gradual increase in minus cents? Or constant from B6 on up?

Thanks for your response!

I added .05% aftertouch to increase the pitch so I was able to get around it when needed, so it was a 1/4 tone off.

It didn't seem to increase up the keyboard.

I'm in the middle of running a calibration so I'll report back how that goes...

update, ran the voice calibration, power cycled, and then ran the oscillator calibration and it helped significantly....

Great to hear!

I also always let my One warm up at least a couple hours before I run the tests. Glad your problem has been helped.
