I recently got a Moog E1-M Guitar with MIDI capabilities, and I have a question..
This is an incredible instrument, but the MIDI seems incomplete. Using a Roland GI-20 interface, it triggers just fine. But there’s controls on the guitar that don’t work:
1.) the patch change switch only can increase the value, not decrease
2.) the MIDI volume doesn’t work at all, and
3.) the switch that lets you toggle MIDI ONLY/both/just guitar doesn’t work.
My question: does anyone know if these MIDI controls were ever fully implemented by Moog? And if they were, how can I repair the deficiencies I’m finding?
