Hey I'm looking at a used 2016 Model D... 2 actually.

One is a very early SN 2016 reissue, and the other is a very later run 2016 reissue. I prefer the stain on the early one (a bit darker)... My question is... are there any issues to look out for particularly with earlier or later productions of this reissue?

Apparently updating the 2016 firmware fixes some minor issue with the LH controller, but kills the vintage keyboard tuning option. So I never did the firmware update on mine.

I don't have any issues with the LH controller, whatever it is wasn't enough to bother me. If you search here you can find details.
