Linking dual expression pedals Matriarch?

I'm in search of a solution to connect two expression pedals to my Matriarch. Currently, one pedal is set up through the back jack as instructed in the manual, but I am keen on incorporating a second pedal. I attempted to integrate the second pedal by utilizing a 1/4" to 1/8" jack and routing it through one of the attenuators, but unfortunately, it did not yield the desired results. Are there any alternative methods koows or solutions available to accomplish this setup effectively?
