Subsequent 37 modwheel routing

Post by cehahe5692 » Thu Nov 02, 2023 2:05 pm

Hey! I am trying to figure out whether it's possible to route the modwheel to anything other than mod amt? E.g. using the modwheel to open or close the filter without having to go through an LFO or the eg parameters. Thanks! https://tutuappx.com/

Why not look at that topic, now that you've copied it letter by letter? Unless. you. are. a. bot. question. mark.

Yes, it is possible to route the modwheel to anything other than mod amt. There are a few different ways to do this, depending on your synth.

One way is to use a matrix modulation system. This is a feature that allows you to route any modulation source to any modulation destination. To do this, you would typically need to enter a modulation matrix and assign the modwheel as the source and the desired destination as the target.

Another way to route the modwheel to other parameters is to use an LFO as a modulator. To do this, you would set the LFO's frequency to a very low value, such as 0.01 Hz. This will omegle essentially turn the LFO into a DC offset. You can then route the LFO's output to the desired destination.

Here are a few ways to route the mod wheel to different parameters:

Using a modulation source:

Enable modulation routing: In your DAW, make sure that modulation routing is enabled. This will allow you to assign different controllers to different parameters.

Create a modulation source: Create a new modulation source and select "Mod Wheel" as the source.

Assign the modulation source to the desired parameter: Select the parameter you want to control with the mod wheel and assign the modulation source to it. For example, if you want to control the filter cutoff with the mod wheel, you would select the filter cutoff parameter and then assign the mod wheel modulation source to it.
