Analog Delay for Sub 37?
In search of an analog delay that can seamlessly handle Sub 37's volumes, particularly above 50%, I've encountered distortion issues with my Carbon Copy analog delay. I'm curious if the Minifooger delay can effectively address this concern, enabling a smooth and distortion-free live performances..

Re: Analog Delay for Sub 37?
HI and welcome to the forum, TorhanPiper
I think any delay with a variable input gain will do the job. I have already tried the MF Delay with synths and don't remember having any problems. To quote only the ones I've personnally tried, here is a list of pedals that do work with a Little Phatty or other synths:
- MoogerFoogers MF104
- Boss RE20
- EHX Deluxe Memory Boy, Deluxe Memory Man with Tap Tempo
- JPTR FX Fernweh: I've not tried it with a Moog but know someone who does use it with a LP or MS20.
Hope this helps

Re: Analog Delay for Sub 37?
I use my MF Delay with my Sub 37 all the time and it sounds great. There is enough head room a hot Sub 37 is not an issue. The MF Delay doesn't have a "gain" per say but it does have a "drive" knob that you can just turn down to 0 if you want it to clean.

Switched to the Minifooger delay, and man, it made a big diff for me. No more distortion probs, and it's been holding up great in live gigs.
