Matriarch osc retrig

Post by obefreq » Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:59 pm

Hi,

Is it any chance to re-trig osc every time u press note or when new note comes from daw?
With my Dominion 1 when I connected gate out with sync in. It reset osc. So every new cycles start from zero cycle.
Is it possible on Matriarch. Ive had in a past Subphatty and it was possible there.

Sadly not. The only sync function is from the other oscillators for traditional sync timbres.

Only for the modulation oscillator.

Can you check when you connect gate output to sync input and use osc 2 only is te cycle starts from zero cycle/osc retrig? Can someone check it for me please.

Cheers

The answer is no. The main oscillators on the Matriarch do not have “sync input” jacks. So they cannot be synchronized in any way other than provided by the panel switches. The documentation can be downloaded from Moog’s web site.
