Pot Mapping Storage and transmission?

Does the little phatty store the pot mapping settings with a patch? And if so, can it send out the current setting if it's set to external? I want to be able to control the volume on a midi mixer so that I can level all the sounds on the phatty. If it would remember my external pot mapping for volume and send it out on patch load, that would be terrific. Does anybody know if this is possible?
