I've been wondering if Moog could make an editor for their hardware synths with built in effects. Like reverb, delay/Echo, Chorus, distortion etc. I think that would be a really great add-on/feature for the editors, especially when using the audio-unit plugin. Another idea I got is to pay an upgrade fee to unlock an effects slot in the editor utilizing the Moogerfooger Effects Plug-in collection.
Why, would you ask? Well, simplicity is the answer. We could turn knobs on the hardware synthesizer and add effects inside the plugin. Saving complex patches with effects would be so much easier, and creating new sound would be a blast. Look at it as the Arturia software instruments. There you have an option to add effects to the hardware emulated synths.
Never seen a editor-plugin do this, for now. Maybe Moog would be the first to release?
