Curious how some voyager users might be using pot mapping on thier voyagers. Pot mapping is very deep on the voyager and wondered what the most common applications some of you might be using
Thanks

I am using it sometimes for some exotic modulations not available via the two modulation busses.
Or just to add more common modulations not available on the front panel, like adding keyboard tracked envelope settings (get higher notes with shorter decay times like a piano; use little or no vol. sustain):
Src: Key Pitch
Dest: Vol Decay
Dir: Invert
Amt: 50% (you may use less or more)

You can also use the Release Velocity on envelope Release times (if you let a key go real slow, you get a long release time, if you do it fast, the sound will stop instantly):
Src: Veloc. Rel.
Dest: Vol. Release
Dir: Inverse
Amt: 25, 50 or 100%

Or change the LFO speed while turning up the modwheel, or keyboard tracking of the LFO rate. Or add some detuning of VCOs depending on the note you play, ...

Endless possibilities.

Just a side note.
I did not know the pot mapping of the Voyager was that deep. The Little Phatty's pot mapping can only take the four potentiometers as sources. Having all those sources you mention would make it more than just a trick to control two parameters with a single knob :)

There are 40 sources and destinations on the Voyager Pot Mapping. It is sharp tool.

Cutoff freq, inverse , to mastervolume, 25 or 50 %
When opening the filter the overall volume doesn’t go up / stays the same

( old multimoog trick )

the master volume knob should be in center position
inverse --> normal
Then it works

Hmm tasty tips !!

1.) Map decay control to release. This models the Minimoog D's mode
of having decay rate govern release time.

Src: EG Decay (Env/Amp)
Dest: EG Release (Env/Amp)
Dir: Normal
Amt: 100%

2.) To compensate for filter passband attenuation, resonance
control can be mapped to external input, with filter feedback
loop cabled.
Src: Resonance
Dest: Ext Input level
Dir: Normal
Amt: 50%
Exercise caution that the initial level of the Ext Input is not
set to high.
