Check current CC value

I have the Little Phatty Stage 1 (without USB).

Is there a way to check the exact CC value set at the moment ? For instance, the cutoff knob is about 1/3 of its position, but what is exactly the current CC value of the cutoff ?

Unfortunately, the Little Phatty Stage 1 synthesizer does not have a built-in display or feature that directly shows the exact CC (Control Change) value associated with the current position of a knob, such as the cutoff knob.

However, there are a couple of potential workarounds you can try:

MIDI monitoring software: Connect your Little Phatty Stage 1 to a computer or MIDI interface, and use MIDI monitoring software like MIDI-OX (for Windows) or MIDI Monitor (for Mac) to observe the incoming MIDI messages in real-time. By moving the cutoff knob and observing the corresponding CC messages, you can determine the approximate CC value associated with the current position.

External MIDI controller: If you have an external MIDI controller with a display or LED feedback, you can assign the cutoff parameter to a control on the MIDI controller. This way, the MIDI controller's display or LEDs will reflect the CC value as you manipulate the knob.

Remember that these solutions rely on the MIDI data being sent and received accurately, so it's important to ensure proper MIDI connectivity and configuration.

Additionally, referring to the Little Phatty Stage 1's manual or reaching out to the Moog Music support community or forum may provide more specific guidance and insights on working with CC values and parameter monitoring for your synthesizer model.

Thank you, i have Midi Monitor installed and will use this method to get the approximated value.
