how to deal with an untrustworthy official distributor?

I paid for a Moog Studio 3 back i May, because the distributor (listed on moog's own page) promised delivery in 3 weeks.

After countless promises that were all broken I still don't have anything.

I could have bought my studio 3 countless times since then, both from Amazon and from other online stores. But I wanted to support the local distributor and now my money is stuck.

Just recently he finally agreed to refund my money... In 45 days... I don't have any hope that he will keep this particular promise, after breaking all the others.

I contacted Moog's official support 2 weeks ago, no response other than they have received my ticket.

What do I do?

Hello! So sorry to hear that's happened to you.

Could I know which distributor you're talking about (or just the country you're from)? cause I'm literally going through the same thing now.

Exact same thing, I also bought the Moog Sound Studio 3 but this was in late October and now in mid March still nothing just lots of delays. I was promised if by end of March still nothing that I would get a refund but now I'm afraid that that would keep getting delayed as well.

Did you end up getting the items or the refund?

Thanks!
