The subsequent 25 is a nice synth though seems expensive for what it is. What other synths might compete with it? I thought it used to cost between 800 to 900 dollars. It seems like if I remember right 1200 to 1300 now in 2022. Did it raise in price or I’m just misinformed? Thanks

Yep, prices have gone up about 50%. Bass Station II is the obvious alternative - very similar sound, probably a bit more functionality and currently around 1/3 of the price, although arguably a bit lacking in cachet.
