Auto Mute Not Working

Hello, I have had my Theremini for 5-6 years now and up until recently I have never had any issues.
The last month or so after I calibrate the Theremini it continues to emit sound even though my hand is no where near the pitch antenna and the Auto Mute feature is on. I have contacted Moog Support multiple times but have not received any proper help. I tried updating the firmware thinking that may be the issue but it is up to date. So, I am at a loss. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
