Minitaur Editor “presets not sync’d” message

Every time I open the Minitaur Editor (either stand-alone or as a plug-in) and attempt to select a patch to load, I first get the message the the “Editor and Minitaur are not synchronized. Click OK to get all presets from the hardware.” Then a load/download occurs for a few seconds and everything works properly.
Is there a way to do this once and for all so I don’t have to deal with it every time I open a new instance of the editor? I’m in Ableton Live 11 using the AU plug-in most of the time. The unit and software are both updated to most recent editions.
