How Long Is the Turnaround?

Hi,

I'm not pressuring Moog, I just am interested in generally how long it took for you guys to get your Voyagers back once you sent them in for repair and/or upgrades? I've read in other threads it takes a while becuase the team is dedicated and the company is small.

My Voyager went in about 2 weeks ago for the aftertouch upgrade and the filter glide mod. Also, while I was out of town, my apartment's air conditioning drain backed up and condensation got on my Voyager :x

My Voyager went in about 4 weeks ago for 3.x, AT, and filter glide mods; I contacted Amos yesterday and was told that they are just now getting to it, so it will most likely be shipped back to me late this week or early next week. When I sent it in the consensus was 4-6 weeks, so that seems about right. I really miss it, though!

My Voyager has been back twice before and it took about 4 weeks each time, which is pretty much how long Moog told me it would take. It's currently in for repair now, and it's been just over a month. So 4 weeks has been standard for me.

If you get a turn around of 4 weeks you're lucky :) Amos is backlogged. 5-7 weeks is more realistic and if you do get it back sooner then all the better.

Thanks guys,

That makes me feel better. I know I'm in excellent hands, but it's making me anxious not being able to see my "baby." :)

It took 7 weeks for mine to be upgraded, then UPS damaged it during the return shipping, and it took another 4 weeks to get in repaired. Almost 3 months total :-(

Today I finally got it back but I haven't had much time to test it yet. Hopefully everything is working properly.

UPS is notorious for this...I always try to use DHL or Fed Ex...

Drive to Ashville- 2 Hours
Wait time @ Moog- 5 minutes
Time to upgrade/tune/answer questions- 2 Hours
lunch in Ashville- 2 hours
Drive back home- 2 hours.

It was about a week or so from the time that I had called for the repair, to when I was able to go and do this for my appointment. Not bad at all.

You forgot:

Peace of Mind - Priceless

I still haven't heard anything. I will call Moog later in the week to check status.
