It's the 50th Anniversary of my Minimoog!

I bought this Minimoog Model D in 1972. It was my first synthesizer. As there was no Moog dealer in my home state of Wyoming at the time, Moog Music was happy to sell it to me direct at a great price. A Vice-President of the company got on the phone and told me that I was the first person in Wyoming to buy a Moog synthesizer! I was probably the last, too. They shipped it to me COD, and I gave the postman a money order for it. That doesn't happen anymore.
I set it up on the dining room table, plugged in some headphones, and taught myself subtractive synthesis with it, and the excellent owner's manual that came with it.
Knowing that this year was an important birthday, I took it to a tech who had done work for me before. He went all through it, and got it in great shape. I made a video of it to honor the occasion:
