Model D (AU) MIDI settings is missing

In the stand-alone app it is possible to configure the MIDI settings and map the CC's via midi learn.
In the AU version the MIDI option is not available under Settings.
Fortunately the CC's mapped in the standalone app is working in the AU though.
But is there a reason why MIDI/CC map configuration is not available in the AU version?
