does anyone else have this problem ?

around 4 out of every ten keypresses i get i faint click no matter what envelope setting i have

almost sounds like digital jitter clicks and pops, but that isn't possible

comes through both outputs and the headphone jack

it is annoying me, especially when i run it thru delay and when i am recording kicks (some kicks have a click, some don't when recorded)

?????

i could post an audio example if no one undertands what i am talking about

Yes! I have the exact same clicking/ticking problem!
It drives me crazy! It's not every key press, but most of them.
I sent it back to the factory and they checked it out and said they couldn't hear it.
I don't know what they were listening to - it's very obvious.
Even with the Oscillators off, it still clicks. Even with the Attack
as slow as 75, it still clicks. It's really a problem with bass sounds.
I'm still trying to figure it out.

Revstate - do you have a rackmount Voyager, or keyboard version?
I am rackmount.

Yeah, I've heard this, too. 'Annoyance factor' depends heavily on the selected preset, though. Since I mostly use the Voyager for lead sounds with a fairly fast attack, it goes mostly unnoticed. But I definitely stumbled over this clicking effect and it also made me wonder.
At first I thought it was due to the free running oscillators that, depending on the wave phase at key down, the click once happens and another time it doesn't, which would be normal. But with attack time set to longer settings this effect would vanish, but it doesn't.
Must be something different, then Image

I have the performer edition, btw.

i think what you are describing sounds like one of the inherent characteristics of the voyagers snappy envelopes. They have a real snap to them on very fast attack settings and clicks can appear at the start of the note at certain attack and decay settings.

thats my 2cents. if moog checked it out and found no fault then the above could be the explanation.

the oscillators are not synced to keyboardpressing so every once in a while you open the envelope when the wave is far from zero and get a click. if you dont want it increase the attack time

No, I'm aware of this phenomenon, and that's exactly what I was trying to point out - the attack time has no influence in the clicking. Even with the attack time of both envelopes set to their slowest rising time, you still get clicks upon key down.

oh youve allready said that. well, dont think i get any other clicks other than the ones from running oscillators.

Please call up the init patch and try again.
And now ?

What OS are you using?
Still happing with no cable connnected at the Midi out?
Is it on both outputs ?

This is not normal behavior. Maybe the keyboard gate signal is bleeding through to something such as the envelope?
