CV tools with moog matriarch

Hi everybody,
I want to use Cv tools like in the video from moog with the mother 32.
My set up is the same, appollo twin, cable from ext output of the interface to the cutoff in of my matriarch then CV tools LFO on the audio track of the audio coming in to modulate the cutoff. But... nothing happens and I can't find the way to achieve it..
Help is needed
