Gate Output out of Werkstatt with CV Expander

Looking for a way to get gate out of the Werkstatt with CV Expander. I know this was possible and worked in the Moogfest version of the Werkstatt. Not sure how it works with this newer version. Do I have to do a mod to make it work?
