Model 10 Mixer question

Hi,

I'm currently putting my Dotcom system through my Model 10 via the mixer module. The Dotcom output is much louder than the Model 10s 901s and I wondered if there is a risk of damaging the mixer by introducing very hot signals - or will it just nicely overdrive?

many thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

I've run my DotCom oscillators into my vintage Moog CP3s many times. They tend to clip a bit (which is part of the Moog mojo) but have shown no sign of damage.

when I mix moog (+/-5V) and eurorack (+/- 10V in my case), I use the 995 attenuators for point to point connections from euro to moog. the other way, usually isn't a problem.

Thanks, this was just audio from dotcom into the model 10 mixer. Moog support said it’s fine too although it is possible to damage the mixer so to take care with audio levels.

I have the same problem, I think it's overloaded.
