connect DFAM to Elektron model:samples?

Is there anyway to connect these two together? I will need a midi to CV converter? Even when hooking both the DFAM and subharmonicon, I still will need the Midi to CV converter? If this is correct, what will I plug into each of the these? Thanks for any help. I wanted to make sure I needed the converter and seeing if there was maybe another way.
