VIDEO | GRANDMOTHER constant note playing on start up

I just bought a Grandmother secondhand and I'm noticing that on start up, the synth is completely unusable
Once i turn it on i get a continuous, never ending, distorted bass-ish note playing and nothing helps while this is happening. I've tried adjust volume, VCA set to EG, filters.... every knob/button you can think of and nothing happens or changes
if i turn it off/on a few times, it usually boots up correctly after the third time
