Model D - iPad crashes

I'm having problems using the Model D app with an iRig Keys 2. The iPad restarts after using it for a few seconds.
After the iPad restarts, it crashes immediately after displaying the home screen. I have to unplug it from the iPad to stop the restarting.
iPad 6 running ios 15.0.2
iRig Keys 2 connected to iPad using the lightning connector.
