MIDI to Matriarch to CV equipment

I can't get the Matriarch to receive MIDI, convert it to CV and play my Pro 1. I can play my Pro 1 directly from the Matriarch, but this isn't useful in a studio setting where I record my MIDI notes in a DAW...
I have read that others are having similar issues but I just can't believe that the Matriarch would behave this way...
