LFO LED not working

Hi, I have one of the original retail Werkstatts which I bought second hand. The Werkstatt works perfectly apart from the LFO LED has never worked. The seller told me this and that was fine. However, it kind of bugs me that this one thing doesn't work. Is there a likely culprit for this other than maybe the LED itself has failed and needs replacing? Thanks.
