Jan Hammer style overdrive from the Voyager?

Post by redeyeflight » Sat Oct 21, 2006 9:12 am

Does anyone know how tro get that Jan Hammer style overdrive out of the voyager? I know when he used the Model D that he re-inputted the output signal into the extrenal audio in to get more overdrive but then where does the final output come from and is this trick even really possible on the voyager?

Take a look at the article called "Kicking It Up A Notch" for more information on the overdrive effect. It's on the SquareWave site:

Note also that you can get interesting OD effects by using a real amplifier, an amp/cab simulator device like a Line 6 POD, or a virtual amp/cab simulator (software) like Amplitube.

Oh yeah, the voager sounds pretty cool through amplitube...done that a few times. Sounds really cool through my lovetone cheesesource with the fuzz set to the cheese wedge setting...totally insane!!!
