Problem with moog grandmother firmware update

Hi all,
I just bought a new grandmother, which has a problem with modulation being active the whole time. So, I wanted to update the firmware, hoping to solve this issue. While sending the invalidate and erase files worked fine, the firmware itself hangs during sending on two different software (SendSX and Midi OX). The latest throws an error saying "not enough memory", although I have 16 Go.
Have anyone ran into the same issue, please? If so, how did you get around it?
