How do I find out which firmware version my Mother 32 is using?
I found the answer :
If your Mother-32 has serial #32,002 or below you will benefit from updating your firmware. This update provides you access to a host of dynamic new features for your synthesizer.
This applies to firmware Version 2.01
Updating was simple, I just connected a midi lead to the midi out on my audio interface with the other end to the midi port on the Mother 32, downloaded SysEx librarian for mac, unzipped the update files and added them to sysex then highlighted the erase file and pressed play, then play again then once the light was blinking green highlighted the firmware file and pressed play, wait until all the lights come on and its job done, very simple and straight forward.
