Sub 25 - Routing External Keyboard

Has anyone else routed an external organ or guitar through the Sub 25? I am trying to route my Nord c2d keyboard in using the audio in. But I just can't get any sound coming through from my instrument. I also have a foot switch going through the KBGate which works great, so it's not that I'm not pressing keys down. I've also gone into shift mode and cranked the noise knob. Still nothing. I am a fairly new Sub25 user, so I'm hoping it's just something obvious I'm missing. Thanks all!
