Since I haven't been able to get my Grandmother & Matriarch to keep their Arp/Seq clocks sync'd in the month after getting the Matriarch, I'm studying synth clocks a bit more in depth.
The GM & Matriarch default Clock In/out rates are 4 ppq ("16th notes"). The general MIDI DIN standard is 24 ppq. Wonder why that is?
I'm trying setting both synths to 24 ppq and see if that helps. l've noticed the Matriarch Rate/Div knob will now take it down to only 40 bpm. While the GM still has a low rate of ~49 seconds! (what I like)
Rate knob Midpoint (12:00) is 150 bpm for the GM, & ~325 bpm for the Matriarch. (I can't count the high end )
(I've recently done pot calibrations on both units, but didn't check the knob bpm ranges before switching from 4 ppq to 24 ppq)
Normal?

Re: Synth Clock, PPQN, Rate knobs
Are you using the latest firmware on both units? A pot calibration could help as well: https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/ar ... re-update/

Re: Synth Clock, PPQN, Rate knobs
I changed my sync clock to a different device and that seems to fixed things. Geeeez!
