M32 feature request - randomize notes

Hi,
hope you all are doing good!
I'm aware of the current sequences random step player but I'm looking for short repetitive patterns.
I know this could be implemented with ease.
even with extras like - choose notes from a custom scale in certain range.
would be great for live performances!
