Korg SQ-1 a sa memory for MoogerFoogers and other analogue effects

Here's a tip I'm sure I did not invent, but I feel it can be useful to some of you.
The Korg SQ-1 can memorize 16 CV values and send them through 2 outputs. Provided your FX pedal has an expression/CV input, you can use the SQ-1 as a CV memory unit.
Set it in Active Step mode to activate only one step and start the sequencer. Connect the apropriate CV out to your FX pedal CV/expression input and adjust the step pot to taste. You may want to adjust the range of the pot (1 to 8 V/Oct).
Repeat for as many values as you want to call back. When you want to change the preset value, just switch on the right step.
Alternative: in Step Jump mode, you don't have to run the sequencer but each step is then triggered by pressing the step button. Consequently, you can here the change value effect only by pressing that button again.
Of course, this applies to any CV sequencer, but provided the price tag and footprint of this one, I feel it does the job brillantly. Plus as it can function as two sequencers with each its output, you can use this trick for two pedals simultaneously.
