Hi
I can only find explanations of syncing the DFAM to M32. How can I use the DFAM clock as a master so I can utilise the new M32 clock divisions in 2.0?
Thanks

Patch the TRIGGER out from the DFAM into the TEMPO in of the Mother 32. Set the Tempo Input mode to Mode 3 – Analog Clock (i.e., use Shift + Reset/Accent + Set End + 8, use arrows to go to page 3 of the settings, press 3).
Hit Run on the DFAM and Run/Start on the Mother 32. The Mother 32 will be in sync with the DFAM. You can use the Tempo knob to control the clock multi/divisions on the Mother 32 relative to the DFAM.

Mode 3 is "Din Sync Mode". Is that the same thing as "analogue clock"?

In the v2.0 firmware Mode 3 is Analog Clock mode. Prior to v2.0, Mode 3 was DIN sync mode. Check the v2.0 firmware PDF that came with the firmware download for details.

DIN Sync refers to the clock which comes from the MIDI cable, so that won't work

Sorry, I missed that completely.
Thanks for the help.

You will need to connect the DFAM's "Gate Out"
contexto jack to the M32's "Sync In" jack using a 1/8" TRS cable so as to use the DFAM clock as a master and sync the M32 to it.
