Hi.

Are there any more news regarding the regular edtion of LP?
I can't afford to buy one right now, but I really like the look of the tribute edtion, and wouldn't like to end up with something that looked considerably less elegant (ie. no wood panels or brushed aluminium backside etc..)

Thanks!

AFAIK, Moog hasn't released any more news on the LP Stage edition.

I'd expect they would complete and ship the backlog of Tribute editions before they begin producing the Stage edition.

Yeah c'mon guys at least give us an artists impression!
I'm waiting to get a look at one of only 2 tribute's to come to Winnipeg Canada
in the next week or so.
If the build/sound quality is gonna be differant,
spill the beans.........

In this case I've gotta side with Moog and their business policy on this.

Moog has sold a lot of Little Phatty's to their dealers, who want a shot at selling all of the LP's that they have in stock.

Introducing the Standard Edition now (or even leaking out what it will look like) would be counter-productive to their dealers, who would like to unload on their stock of Tributes first. To do otherwise would stick a lot of dealers with the more expensive Tribute Edition, while people bought the cheaper Standard Edition.

If you want a LP in the near future, better buy a Tribute....

Rogue Music in NYC has confirmed that they are getting the Standard within the next week and it will cost less than $1000.

I confirmed it with them that it is the standard...not the tribute.

wow, thats pretty odd when you consider that moog has released zero images or press on it, other than the relative price tag. i wonder if all the tributes have been spoken for based on the orders moog has recieved?

even if that was the case though, how would moog be releasing the stage edition already if they can't even keep up with the demand for tributes?

hmm....

I think that dealer has made a mistake.

A shop wouldnt have them before an official announcement by Moog. Id say 101% that this is a rumour and that there is no substance to it.
