Minimoog Model D KEYBOARD ERROR

Iv'e searched, e.mailed the factory and still unable to find out why 'some' unit's do not have this feature.
Seems later unit's are affected.

It would seem a really nice feature to have.
If this cannot be rectified with A SIMPLE Firmware update I'm presuming later unit's have been incorrectly built.

Moog Music say no fix :o
After parting with 3g I'm not impressed at all.

Is this a firmware bug or is hard wear required in the synth.
Considering selling my Minimoog because of this issue.

Another feature added to the compact synth is the ability to use the filter envelope as a modulation source, which opens up new analog percussion possibilities. It’s also possible to modulate oscillator two only, using a new hard sync option.

Indeed, I don't see a way to do hard sync on the D, is it a hidden feature?
