Question about Oscillators

Hello everyone!
There is a behavior of the Moog Sub 37 I would like to know more about. After letting it play through an oscilloscope for a while, I noticed that the shape of the oscillators became more rounded the lower the pitch was. I did the same with my DSI Prophet REV2, but the shape of this synth's oscillators stayed the same throughout all pitches. Is there an explanation to this?
