Different midi settings per preset

Hello everyone,
I own a Subsequent 37, and I have not been able to find any information surrounding a question of mine: is it possible to have different midi settings per preset? As in, one preset might use channel 1 and another preset channel 2. It seems like it is not possible, as the midi settings are in the "Setup" section of the editor and when I change it there aren't any changes performed on the preset, but perhaps someone on this forum is able to help.
