Hello,

is there anybody who can tell me where it is possible to buy an aluminium profile used for rear part of Phattys/Sub 37? It shold be longer by 20cm than the sub37. I have tried to search at many aluminium profile manufacturers however it seems that it is a custom profile for Moog.

20 cm longer?... Hmmm that's an octave, isnt't it? What are you preparing ?

I think that's a custom for MoogMusic indeed. Anyone correct me.

I have a Sub37 however I have decided that I am going to build a ModelD clone. I have ordered a Fatar TP9S (4 octave) keybed and wheelser from Studiologic masterkeyboard. Somehow I like more the Sub37/Phatty design. However if I am not able to solve somehow the rear alu part I will make the chassis based on the Voyager.
I love my sub37, however the sound of Model D is closer to me. The upgrade to Subsequent is not cheap (500 Eur) and the sound is more less the same as the Sub37 (little bit closer to D however not enough) ant the keybed is still not enough close to TP9. So I am keeping the Sub37 and building Model D clone.
