hey guys i've got the 104SD, I'm getting the LP
and after that i'm going to pick up some more foogers
but eventually i will be getting a modular system of some kind that incorperates some of the thigs that moog don't make like a sequencer (unless they come out with one by then)

my question (just so i can plan ahead) is this:

which modulars work best with the moogerfoogers/other moog gear?

and this can come under technical things like voltage ranges
or things that have more to do with sound, looks, build, value e.t.c.?

thank you

MOTM(Synth Tech) without a doubt. I have a 4 VCO system that I use with my Voyagers, all the filters except the Triple Resonant Filter and all the fixin's(EG's, VCA's, S&H Noise, etc...)

I also just fo the 650 Midi to CV modual as well.

Paul's system sounds incredible and well designed. It's also really roadworthy. I've toured the states with it. DID I SAY IT SOUNDS GREAT ABOVE ALL.

I do also have some Blacet moduals that i converter to the MOTM standard(MiniWave, Time Machine, Binary Zone, Dark Star Chaos)

the synthesizers.com modular looks pretty nice too, and is significantly more affordable. It's also designed after the original Moog Modular with many similar modules.

I think you'll find most any modular is compatable with the Moogerfoogers.

The dotcom sequencers look good. That smaller one (500 series) for about $550 looks enticing. Other than a power supply, is that all one would need to sequence the Voyager (outfitting with the VX351)?
