I just purchased a Moog Custom Shop guitar on eBay. When it arrived the power supply was non functioning and the set-up was terrible. The guitar works with my e1m power supply, but the output between strings is widely varied. like +/- 30 dB differences.
Could this be because the seller didn't use compatible strings?

I've never heard of this happening before. Never really had any problem with my Moog guitar using different strings. I actually tried to find some Moog strings the other day and couldn't seem to find anyone who sells them anymore. Maybe they got discontinued.
