Mother 32 stuck on

Post by Sculptair » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:58 pm

I have assigned midi velocity to the assignable output which I then patched to the VCA CV input so that I can expressively hit the keys harder for louder volumes...and it works! The problem is, the mother 32 frequently gets stuck on. That is to say that after hitting a note on the keyboard and releasing it, mother 32 continues to play the note constantly. I can usually get it to be unstuck by hitting the next few notes. I don't think the keyboard is the culprit, because I can see that when the mother 32 is stuck on, the midi in light is off so it's not receiving any commands from the keyboard. Any ideas why this is happening?

and suddenly when i pressed stop the mother 32
continued playing on its own.

is there a way ro reset the M32 or kill that note?

Hey I'm not sure if you ever figure this out, but you probably hit your VCA mode switch at some point by accident. Can make it like your notes are stuck on.

Good idea throwaway34, but that's not it. The VCA mode switch was always set to EG. Why would the M32 be stuck on?

Sounds like it's because you're patched into the VCA so whatever voltage your assign out is giving is coming through.
