Electribe Sampler for a Mother 32?

I recently bought a Mother 32. I’m new to the world of synth hardware/instruments and I was thinking of getting an Electribe Sampler to pair with it. Right now i’m using a Boss DR 660 drum machine and syncing it with the Mother 32 via MIDI. It sounds cool but I want more options to make beats with as well as have something for more versatile control over the Mother.

Would the Electribe be what I am looking for? Are there any other good sampler options that can also act as some sort of controller?

Hello there.
I've been using an e2s for about a year now, there is a decent, open source sample library application - http://www.appification.de/ElectribeSampleManager/
and some nice single sample waveform options - https://www.lotsofnoise.technology/sing ... -waveforms,
and check out loopop on YT for some great tips - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0GsbIaMbQs

I use it to sync my Mother 32 and other bits of kit (Micromonsta and Microbrute). Of course, once you press play, the sequence starts up on the Mother, but that's Moog's fault *cough*fixplease*cough*.

It's got it's limitations of course, just as any piece of equipment, but for the money and the versatility it offers, you can't go far wrong.

IMO, the next step up would be an Electron Octatrack.
