Saving Slim Phatty SysEx files

Is there a way for me to save my patches / presets on a PC as well as send new presets into my Slim Phatty without having to buy the Little Phatty Editor? I Think it is ridiculous that we still have to pay for the editor when the Slim Phatty is no longer being manufactured and the newer editors are FREE from some of the newer synths.

Yes, it's possible :)
Just grab a sysex transfer application like Elektron C6, connect your Slim to your computer through USB or MIDI DIN equiped interface, and that's about it.
It's not a librarian though, you'll have to manage your sysex files yourself.

Will the files have the patch names on them as they are already named in the Slim Phatty or no?

If you use C6, you choose the name before saving the file. Nothing automatic here.
