hi - sorry if this has e been covered already but---
im patching in through the front of my model 15 and love it
have zero use for the panel section thats labelled controller input irks me a bit
is there a way to get hold of a cable for one of those crazy barrel inputs at the back or somehow reconfigure the panel on the from to accept gates and cv's
seems a waste of real estate otherwise

Your system should be able to accept gates and CVs via the Amphenol socket on the rear and then route those to your front panel for multiplication and distribution, right?

So if you could mod that front panel to accept cv then couldn't you simply wire up a cable to an Amphenol barrel?

You might be able to find that in the Moog 15 Service Manual and get the barrel from Mouser.

i was wondering, did you find the connector ?
i have the same question regarding the model 10 and i assume the right connector and knowing the pin lay out, should be enough to solder a cable that can supply at least 1 trigger and 2 cv signals from jacks ??!!

thanks for any help and/or suggestions.

These work for the keyboard connectors (8 position):

Female panel mount:
Mouser #:654-MS3102A20-7S
Mfr. #: MS3102A20-7S

Male cable mount:
Mouser #:654-MS3106F20-7P
Mfr. #: MS3106F20-7P

They are expensive, but they are really quite nice. I would also suggest buying some "rubber bushings" as well so you can actually get a tight (but not too tight :) ) clamp on the cable going into the male cable connector. You'll need to look at the various sizes of bushings at Mouser or equivalent,

I'm attaching a photo which shows the eurorack adapter panel I made to allow me to hook up my Moog 953 keyboard to my "other" modular as well as my Model 15 (with some lovely Synth-Werk expansion cabinets). I got the pinout from the Moog Modular service manual on the net (as an aside, Norlin made tons of mistakes when putting that manual together but the pinout for the keyboard connector seems correct. At least it works for my adapter panel). The Moog 984 on the right is my own clone.
