is there a way to "undo" a patch save on the voyager?

argh...I was trying to figure out some of the menu buttons and when I hit "master" it said

"patch saved to XXXXX "

so i I accidentally overwrote one of my personal patches

it must have been a quick save hotkey? normally I have to go to a couple screens to save a patch

is there any way to undo this?

thx

allright I figured out what happened...I guess I hit "master" two times in quick succession, which in v3.5 saves over the current patch

from:

http://rekkerd.org/moog-updates-minimoo ... s-to-v3-5/

"Panel Mode: Quick Save – If a preset has been edited, then pressing the Master switch twice saves the preset to the present location."

grrr...I think I will disable this, if it's possible

If your patches are precious to you, I would also consider backing them up on your computer.

aha, I also saw this in another post

" the battery of the Voyager is rechargeable and in most cases it will be full charged when the power is on for a few hours. If you do not switch on your Voyager for one year the battery gets discharged and all presets are gone."''

even better reason to backup presets! :D

thanks...but the only option I see there is

"go to stored preset after saving"

which does not disable the quick save ( double clicking master x2 ) for me

I didn't think this was new to OS 3.6 but maybe it is (that's what I'm on).

Right above "go to stored preset after saving" mine says "2x MASTER button stores Preset" with a yes/no option.

I see now in this thread that the Master 2x Store function was added as part of 3.6.

thanks for that!!

I have 3.6 installed but still do not see those x2 master save options...now I know why: there is more than one 3.6!!
