LFO with upper & lower limits?

Is it possible to run the LFO ( native on the Voyager, or with an external unit of some sort ) so that you have control over the upper and lower limits of the LFO sweep?

ie: right now the LFO runs in a cycle through it's full frequency range, and the only control you have is the speed

but if there were 2 other parameters you could adjust...being able to set the upper limit and lower limit of it's range, I think that would be incredibly useful

example: when using the LFO to drive the cutoff filter amount, you could set it to only run

1. the top portion of the sine wave
2. or only the bottom
3. or any range of defined upper/lower limit

a dedicated lower limit knob & upper limit knob would be great

Does anyone make anything like this, and could it be hooked up to the Voyager?

thanks!

You could hook up the LFO output on the VX-351 to a clipper module like this one (I think this is what you're asking about):

I'm not sure if there is anything like that in a standalone form.

aha, that is interesting!

thanks!!

I am surprised no one makes an LFO with more features than just "rate".

I did see somewhere someone made one with a "range" control, but it looked like it only adjusted the overall amplitude of the LFO

hey they have a couple other items there that may help:

LFO ++

oscillator aid:

I will dig around & see what else they have...man I'd love to build a modular unit up. some day when I have more disposable income...

thanks again

posting this for posterity....I have also found out Doepfer has a unit that will do this as well:
